Quantum Prep to offer HSPT Prep Courses at Austin Prep

Quantum Prep, in collaboration with Austin Preparatory School, is offering a series of HSPT Preparatory Courses for 7th and 8th grade students on the Austin Prep campus in Reading, Massachusetts.

These affordable and highly effective 5-day HSPT (High School Placement Test) boot camps can help students make the most of their test, empowering families to take more control of the high school admissions process and helping them to secure the best possible opportunities for their child’s education.

HSPT Prep Boot Camps are open to any 7th or 8th grade student and will be offered on the following dates:

  • June 27-July 1, 2016 (Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm)
  • August 22-August 26, 2016 (Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm)
  • September 24-October 22, 2016 (Each Saturday, 9am-12pm)

What the Boot Camps Include?
Initial Exam and Individualized Diagnostics
Students will begin the course by taking a diagnostic practice exam in order to identify each student’s individual strengths and challenges. Supplemental practice materials will be provided to each student throughout the course based on the results of the diagnostic exam.

Test Taking Skills
Student will study proven techniques to help them develop the confidence and skills to maximize their performance. Time management, goal setting, test day planning, relaxation techniques, comprehension and problem-solving strategies, review procedures, and more, practiced and perfected.

Intensive Content Learning and Review
The content learning and review phase will deepen and strengthen the student’s knowledge of Language, Arithmetic and Geometry, Verbal, Word Problems, Reading Comprehension and Advance Math concepts, refreshing and improving upon the skill they’ve learned during their academic career.

Test Simulation, Review and Final Recommendations
Finally, students will take a full-length practice exam under test conditions. This exam not only helps the student truly familiarize themselves with both the exam materials and testing environment, but yields a final result and analysis students can use to continue their preparation.
